I really liked the story, but it can be rather confusing because two stories of Hollis' life are being told at the same time. I think it is a good read.

Colors and nature come alive in "Red Sings from Treetops." I love it! I am a nature lover and honestly, I find this book so moving that I feel like crying.

Jake Starts School by Michael Wright

Jake has a fear of the first day of school. In fact, he is so afraid that his parents have to spend the day at school with Jake clinging to them. By the end of the day Mrs. Moore has won Jake over and you know he will be ready for school the next day.
I love this book! It is funny and has an easy rhyme. The illustrations are perfect too.
